Angela Gonzalez (She/Her/Hers), also known as Angela of York, is a photographer and performer currently based in New York City.

Through her photography, she has worked with organizations such as Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the Latiné Musical Theatre Lab, and Weary Arts Group. She also has had the pleasure of photographing people such as Julie Benko, Robin de Jesus, and Mýa. Angela's photography has been highlighted in exhibits, celebrated in a city-wide campaign, and featured on Playbill.

As a performer, she excelled in AMDA's integrated conservatory and is currently completing a BFA in Musical Theater at The New School (She's also minoring in Culture & Media as a nod to her photo and video skills). Angela's performing arts highlights include playing Marta in DreamWrights' production of Sondheim's Company and assistant directing In The Heights, a show near and dear to her, in her beloved hometown of York, PA- Angela of York ;)

No matter the medium, Angela is a storyteller. Whether through a lens or through song, Angela hopes to share stories that will engage an audience, encourage creativity, and open doors for members of her community. Outside of storytelling, Angela can be found beating her little brother in Mario Kart, thrifting with her besties, and trekking through her final year of college.
